What To Do With Your COVID-19 Vaccination Card
So you have your COVID-19 vaccination card. You received it after your COVID-19 shots and now have proof you’ve been vaccinated. First of all, don’t throw it away. Although you don’t have to show proof you’ve been vaccinated right now, that could change when you’re traveling to other countries for example.
In the meantime, the CDC suggests you do the following with your vaccination card:
- DO make a copy of it or take pic of it on both sides to save on your phone or files on your desktop or keep copy in your wallet
- DO save original in a safe place where you normally store important papers
- DO NOT post on social media – that’s an invitation for identity theft (has your name and birthdate on it)
