A Danish Network Created A Children’s TV Show About A Man With A Giant Penis
There’s a new Danish television show that is getting a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons. Per Decider, the children’s series center’s around a man with a…um… penis so big, he can barely control it.

The outlet states, “The new series, John Dillermand, follows a man who puts his record-setting penis to good use in rescue operations, money-making schemes, and cooking demonstrations in order to teach kids the importance of overcoming hardship and celebrating diverse bodies.”
And the name of the series, John Dillermand, isn’t just random. In Danish, “Diller” means “penis,” and “Dillermand” translates to “penis-man.”

Of course, parents and experts are freaking out about the series. As Christian Groes, a gender researcher put it, “It’s perpetuating the standard idea of a patriarchal society and normalizing ‘locker room culture’ that’s been used to excuse a lot of bad behavior from men. It’s meant to be funny – so it’s seen as harmless. But it’s not. And we’re teaching this to our kids.”
Even so, the Danish network is standing by its program. In a statement, they said, “Our content is based on a long tradition of being true to the target group. With the series, we acknowledge the budding curiosity about the body and genitals, and also the embarrassing and funny thing about the body — it is something that is exciting for the exact age group that Ramasjang addresses.”
They add, “John Dillermand is a fictional and humorous universe where we want to tell a funny story that captures the kids. It is an animated series where humor, exaggeration and magic are at the center, which is something that children know and can easily decode.”
