Discovery Place Still Brings The Magic

The Discovery Place Science Museum has been a Charlotte staple since 1981. Discovery Place was established long before the year the building was built, they’ve expanded over the years to include the IMAX Theater and many more wings for exploration, but the meaning behind it still rings true- to bring the joy of science to children.
With all of the shutdowns all over the country, Discovery Place had to shut its doors. But they haven’t let that stop them from bringing the magic of science to children & adults. For those subscribed to the company’s e-mail list, they have been sending out activities that families can do at home to continue the fun of learning. It also helps to cut down the screen time for even the adults, as most everything is physical or crafting.If you are not subscribed to Discovery Place e-mails, first off… why?
