Year Round Gardening
Many people just don’t have the space to start their own vegetable garden. If you do, then I highly encourage getting out and starting one. Not only is it good exercise and time in the fresh air and sunlight, but you will also be able to enjoy the fruits, as it were, of your labor, not only at the dinner table but your wallet as well. For those with a limited amount of space, consider growing an herb garden instead.
An herb garden can be grown almost anywhere and with a limited amount of space. Any type of houseplant has been shown to be beneficial in cleaning the air inside your house, and an herb garden has the added benefit of providing the ability to jazz up your menu as well. Many herbs, such as rosemary, also have a strong aroma when not being cooked and help your place smell clean and fresh without resorting to chemicals or sprays. There are plenty of commercially available ideas to start an herb garden, or visit your favorite craft or DIY site for more ideas. Happy Planting!
