DMX To Jail: “Knock Knock, Open Up The Door, It’s Real!”
After the pleas from DMX‘s lawyer to play the song “Slippin’,” and the agreement from his judge, the judge still sentenced Mr. Earl Simmons to some jail time.
According to Billboard, Judge Jed Rakoff called DMX’s tax fraud a “brazen and blatant” attempt that could not go unpunished. He did, however, say that DMX is a “good man,” and in many ways “he’s his own worst enemy.”
He has been in prison since his bail was revoked in January, but he’s now been sentenced to 1 year in prison.
Here’s live footage of DMX in jail, being a model inmate. Just kidding.
