It has quickly become a thing of the past — record stores. I can remember thumbing through actual albums at my local Walmart or Best Buy. If you recall, stores would have entire sections of their business dedicated to just ‘records.’

Fast forward to today, the record stores that actually sell vinyl records are few and far between. This month was National Vinyl Records Day — a day to recognize and salute the vinyl record. Today, vinyl is characterized more as a collector’s item or vintage.

Either way, you look at it I thought it was only fitting that we give homage to vinyl records. See some of the top spots to get your favorite artist on vinyl.
