Do you ever wonder what you could buy with $44 billion? Well think no more… Following Elon Musk’s purchase of social media platform Twitter, the team at CMC Markets came up with a list of things that he could have bought instead. This list is mainly rare luxury items that the average person could never dream of buying. But it goes to show you just how much money Twitter actually cost. The last thing on the list? That one you may have purchased. But you will never in your lifetime own $44 Billion worth.

    Not only could Musk have purchased Buckingham Palace, he could have purchased the Royal home 7 times at it’s projected value of $6,700,000,000. Move over Queen Elizabeth you have a new roommate!

    Billionaires love to purchase sports teams. Cough cough David Tepper. Had he so chosen, Musk could have purchased Manchester United 10 times over. The price tag for the team? $4,200,000,000.

    Owning the Hubble Telescope would be pretty awesome. It’s not obtainable for most, but at a price of $2,100,000,000 Musk could have bought 21 of them. Yes, 21. We know he’s interested in space, so maybe he will make this purchase.

    This is one teddy bear that is not for kids. It’s the most expensive teddy bear in the world with a value of $2,100,000. Must could have purchased 20,952 of them. Though if that many existed the value would surely decrease.

    Now this is the one most of us can at least imagine purchasing. An iPhone 13 PRO has a price tag of $1,599. For $44 Billion Musk could have purchased 27,517,198 of them. No one needs that many iPhones no matter how many screens you break.
