Just in time for the start of the school season, South Carolina residents get to enjoy the weekend tax-free! Parents getting back-to-school items for kids are in luck. Starting Friday, August 5, 2022 through Sunday, August 7, 2022, people can shop tax-free in South Carolina.

However, don’t get confused. Not every item is included in the tax-free weekend. Here are times that ARE NOT tax-exempt.
