What better way to celebrate Spring than to be outside enjoying the weather! Have fun enjoying festivals with your friends and family in some of this fresh North Carolina air. From food to music to prizes, festivals are always a good time.

North Carolina offers a wide variety of festivals for folks to enjoy during the Spring season. From beer and food festivals to dogs and pickle festivals, there’s something for everyone. Time to sit back and start planning for those Spring weekends in North Carolina.

  • Blue, Brew, & 'Que Festival - Duplin County, NC

    The Blue, Brew, & ‘Que Festival is your chance to enjoy 5 bluegrass bands, award-winning barbeque, and sample local NC breweries during your trip. A fun family outing happening in Duplin County, NC on March 26, 2022, at the Duplin County Events Center.

  • Charlotte SHOUT! - Charlotte, NC

    Happening right here in Charlotte is the Charlotte SHOUT! Festival. This is a multi-week festival to showcase the Charlotte community by celebrating its creativity and innovation through art, music, food, and creative ideas. Primarily in Uptown, the event will take place April 1-17, 2022.

  • Herb & Garden Fair - Wilmington, NC

    The 30th annual Herb & Garden Fair is your chance to experience another side of nature. The grounds of Poplar Grove will be filled with locally grown plants of all types, herbal and all-natural products, artisan crafts, and local foods for guests to enjoy on April 2nd and April 3rd.

  • Fayetteville Dogwood Festival - Fayetteville, NC

    Enjoy the 40th annual Fayetteville Dogwood Festival as it returns after a break due to the pandemic. The festival will feature entertainment, activities for the family, food, and local fun in Downtown Fayetteville from April 21 – April 24, 2022.

     

  • Smithfield Ham and Yam Festival - Smithfield, NC

    Enjoy some ham and yams at this Smithfield classic! Celebrate agricultural products that Smithfield and Johnston County are known for at this county favorite. Enjoy hundreds of booths with local artists, craftspeople, face painters, local nonprofits, and more! The event will be on May 7, 2022min the historic Downtown Smithfield.

  • Art Festival - Charlotte, NC

    The 7th annual Art Festival happening at the Hindu Center to celebrate their culture with an art and crafts exhibition, kids workshops, live contests, karaoke, food, and henna tattoos.

  • Dreamville Festival - Raleigh, NC

    The 2nd annual Dreamville Festival is happening in Raleigh with a multi-stage musical event from J.Cole to celebrate local culture, food, and art plus a selection of music performers blending today’s biggest artists and new up and coming talents happening April 2nd – April 3rd.

     

  • Paws in the Park - Pineville, NC

    Kick your paws up and enjoy a stroll at Paws in the Park in Pineville, NC. The free, family-friendly event will allow everyone including your favorite four-legged friend to enjoy a day outside. Taking place Saturday, April 2nd from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Pineville Lake Park.

  • Azalea Festival - Wilmington, NC

  • First Friday Artwalk - Elizabeth City, NC
