It’s the day many Americans look forward to during the holidays — Black Friday! It’s a day of heavy traffic, long lines and eager shoppers. Those shoppers are looking to get the BEST deal, even it it means getting up early and waiting in endless lines.

According to WalletHub, last year a number of Americans shopped from the comfort of their homes on Black Friday. Some 88 million made their purchases online, while 66.5 million chose to shop for deals in person.

And lately, you may have noticed another new trend during Black Friday. The sales have started earlier. Some ‘holiday deals’ started during the summer. But, that means good news for consumers who are able to buy more time to stretch out their purchases. They can avoid buying everything in one day. So which stores offer the best discounts and for which items?

WalletHub surveyed nearly 4,000 deals from 16 of the biggest U.S. retailers’ 2022 Black Friday ad scans. The stores listed below offer the largest advertised discounts in various product categories.
