Charlotte-Area Restaurants Treating Veterans To Meals On November 11
Veterans Day is Friday, November 11th, and it’s a day to show our gratitude for the service of so many dedicated men and women in the U.S. military. Some local restaurants will be offering free meals to veterans on that day, including the restaurants of Mac’s Hospitality Group.
According to WCNC-TV, veterans are invited to enjoy free meals at all Mac’s Speed Shop locations on Veterans Day. At Mac’s Speed Shop, veterans will be treated to a Free Lil Pig, hickory-smoked, pulled-pork BBQ sandwich, with their choice of one side, including mac & cheese, cheddar grits, fried okra, or collard greens.
Mac’s Hospitality Group also owns and operates the taqueria SouthBound, next door to Mac’s South Boulevard location in Charlotte. Each veteran can get two free Carnitas Tacos and a side of rice and beans there on Veterans Day.
The offer is good on dine-in orders only on Friday, November 11th. Just show your Veteran ID Card and purchase one beverage to get the deal. You can find all nine Mac’s Speed Shop locations here. For information on SouthBound, click here.
