South Carolina One of the Best States to Get and Stay Married

We’re only a few weeks into 2024 and I have already seen tons of wedding countdowns. Those who got engaged in 2023 or even prior are officially tying the knot this month. I am super excited as I am actually attending a few weddings myself this year. The main thing that you always hope for is a long, lasting marriage for the happy couple.

I did some research and saw there are a few states that are actually better for this. Yeah, isn’t that crazy to think about? There are some states where couples have a much better chance of getting and staying married. U.S. News is showing us the top 10 states with the highest marriage rates. Luckily for us (or some of us), South Carolina is one of those places. South Carolina made the list of the top 10 states with the highest marriage rates in the U.S. Not only did we make the top 10 this year, but South Carolina is also one of the only states that continuously moves up in marriage rates year after year.
