New Bakery Will Bring Sweets And Lots Of Jobs To Upstate South Carolina
A new bakery operation will make Cherokee County its home and bring upwards of 250 jobs to upstate South Carolina. It’s an investment of $96 million in the area. According to a press release by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, Gaffney Bakery, LLC is set to purchase an existing state-of-the-art bakery facility. The facility is located at 131 Corporate Drive in Gaffney.
“We are pleased that Gaffney Bakery, LLC decided to establish in South Carolina. With our pro-business environment, robust workforce, and first-class resources, South Carolina is well-versed in supporting new and existing businesses,” says McMaster. Those interested in applying for Gaffney Bakery jobs should go online to readySC in late 2023 and early 2024. Before that time renovations will be made to the facility, backed by South Carolina and Cherokee County.
