Charlotte Ice Cream Shop Offering Monthly Subscription Service
Ice cream is one of my favorite treats, even in winter. I love it! And if you have an ice cream lover on your holiday gift list, this will make an excellent present. There’s an ice cream shop here in Charlotte that offers a monthly subscription service.
Urban Sweets is a new ice cream shop in South End. According to Axios Charlotte, the shop offers a monthly subscription service. You can get four pints of ice cream delivered to your home every month for $312 plus shipping for a year. I’m not great at math, but I think that works out to approximately $6 a pint. Quality ice cream pints at the grocery store are at least that much, so this is a good deal!
Urban Sweets started off as a cart in 2021 and will open its brick-and-mortar location soon. The shop will serve local coffee from Enderly Coffee Co., and will offer ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, and hand-painted chocolates. Yum! They’ll be open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am to 8 pm.
The shop plans to offer over 25 rotating ice cream flavors, and they’ll have vegan and gluten-free options. The flavor names are all influenced by Charlotte. Their Dilworth Delight flavor is chocolate cookie wafers with vanilla. And their Uptown Choco Brown will be a mix of three types of cocoas. As a chocolate fan, I gotta check that flavor out!
