What Are the Carolina’s Favorite Thanksgiving Stuffings?
If you’re a fan of stuffing, then you may have stumbled across the perfect story for you. As Thanksgiving approaches, we are working to determine the best Thanksgiving stuffings for every state. Some states prefer certain recipes more than others. Of course, the south is famous for taking our own twist on many of our dishes anyways. The Takeout went on to determine which Thanksgiving stuffings were each state’s favorite.
To determine the results, they went on to see what state’s were searching for around the Thanksgiving holiday. Of course, that could be anything between recipes or grocery necessities to determine their favorite stuffings. There are tons of possibilities for Thanksgiving stuffing, so it’s crazy to think about the endless options. Some states actually threw me for a loop there. From oyster stuffing to jalapeno cheese stuffing to stuffing with raisins. Whew, how does any of that sound? Well, let’s take a look at what the Carolinas are feeling about stuffing.
North Carolina comes in having sausage dressing as their favorite Thanksgiving stuffing. I personally have never seen sausage dressing stuffing, but I am also not from North Carolina. So, maybe that is why? I did look it up after this and it does seem like a pretty tasty dish to have on the table. Sausage stuffing was actually the second most popular for all states across the country. For South Carolina, oyster dressing comes in at No. 1. Honestly, not even surprised because the Carolinas surely love their seafood. Why not put seafood into your Thanksgiving dressing? I might need to try out my own recipe this year after this!
