Flight Delayed? Shake Shack Will Give You Free Fries

It’s one of the busiest, and most stressful, travel times of the year. And in a time when staffing issues have been an issue and delays are common, one fast-food chain is stepping up. If you are traveling this Wednesday-Friday and happen to get stuck at John F. Kennedy International airport in New York, Shake Shack has a treat for you. Free fries! If you visit a Shake Shack location in Terminal 4 near gates B23 and B37 and show proof of delayed or canceled flight you can get free crinkle-cut fries.

But what if you aren’t in New York this holiday season? Don’t worry you won’t be left out. If you’re at another airport and experience a delay or cancelation take a selfie in front of the board (that shows the delay). Then post the photo to Instagram and tag @ShakeShack. Shake Shack will reach out to those who participate by direct message with a code for free fries.

The offer is valid Wednesday, December 22 through Friday, December 24. Which fast-food chain has the best fries?
