Back To School Supply Drive
Mark your calendars for August 21st from 10am to 12-noon and meet us at the Salvation Army Center of Hope located at 534 Spratt Street in Charlotte, North Carolina as you drop off school supplies. What was your favorite school supplies when you were a child? Pencils, crayons, erasers, markers notebook paper, calculators or all the above? Drop off school supplies and participate with an adorable local non-profit by the name of (FACET) Services, Inc. that’s organizing this event. I’ve known (FACET) Services, Inc. for at least 5 years and this heartfelt organization is making a positive impact in ways you wouldn’t believe. The 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focuses on assisting homeless women, and those at risk of becoming homeless in the Charlotte community, and trust and believe when transitioning from homelessness to a life of fulfillment, it is truly liberating.
This back to school supply drive is a perfect fit because (FACET) Services Inc. stands for Faith In Action Community and Educational Transition, and they touch so many lives in a deep heartfelt way, this event is just one of many. For instance, they provide educational awareness training in computer basics, interviewing skills, financial literacy, and also navigating social media to aid in the transition of home ownership or job placement. You must meet the founder of (FACET) Services, Inc.
