If you can remember from December to March 2019 we really didn’t have much of a winter. The snow never came and we didn’t even receive an ounce of ice, no blizzard or anything resembling winter. When summer passed last month, I began to get antsy at the thought of the Fall season arriving. Now a month and half into the fall season, the cool breeze that I’ve been awaiting for that normally ushers in the cold weather in December has eluded me, much like good credit and a winning lottery ticket.
One can only imagine how excited I felt when I awoke last Wednesday morning to dew on my car windows, and a very nice cold front. Unbeknownst to me, my joy was short lived as the day would end with temperatures in the low 80’s. Is it too much to ask for all 4 seasons this year? My conspiracy mind thinks the government is controlling things to some degree because raining coming down on sunny days and having the air conditioner running one day, and the heat the next baffles me. Next thing you know you folks will be getting pneumonia to deal with in addition to Covid, and that darn Flu season coming on deck. By the way, why so many hurricanes? I think we’ve made it through the entire alphabet with Zeta, right? Oh Boy, let me stop complaining because we can’t control the weather….wink, wink! LOL
