The home search in Charlotte is crazy. If you are looking to sell you are going to receive top dollar, but if you’re looking to buy you’re going to have a hefty price tag. In fact, I’m most likely going to re-sign my apartment lease in hopes that things calm down! But it’s interesting to see just how far your dollar will go when it comes to real estate. So, I did a quick search on Realtor.com to see what homes $1 Million would get you in the Charlotte Market. Do I have $1 million to spend? Absolutely not, but it’s fun to look and dream.
There are many homes priced well above that $1 million price tag, but for this list, I set that as my limit. Prices range from $975,000 to $1 million. But how much does that get you? It can get you as much as 5 acres or a waterfront lot. Most homes have around 4 bedrooms and 3.5-4.5 baths. You’ve got homes in the Ballantyne area as well as Myers Park or South Park. So a decent-sized house in a nice neighborhood.
Currently, In Charlotte, there are 1,603 homes for sale.
