NEW ORLEANS, LA - JULY 02: Solange Knowles performs onstage at the 2017 ESSENCE Festival Presented By Coca Cola at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on July 2, 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

When you come from music royalty you have to bring the heat and when Juelz teased some new music, Twitter was not feeling it. On Saturday (June 4), Julez posted a snippet of his music on TikTok where he was heard rapping over a bass-heavy beat in the 15-second clip.

Juelz, born Daniel Juelz J. Smith Jr., is Solange’s son. Solange is a Grammy winner, as is his aunt Beyoncé, uncle Jay-Z, and even his  cousin Blue Ivy. So when Juelz posted a video of him rapping many were quick to ask why he did not ask his family for some musical advice.

His lyrics included, “I had to pack that heat/She kept showing all the signs, but kept disturbing all my peace/I’m trying to feed the game to n—–, but they always think it’s sweet/Just like Future said a while ago, the feds just did a sweep/F— the London drip, we gone get our clothes shipped out from Greece.”
