Let’s face it we may not be New York City but that doesn’t mean there isn’t money in North Carolina. In fact, a few weeks ago we told you about the most expensive homes for sale just in Charlotte. And cha-ching there were some high price tags. But what are the richest places in North Carolina?

HomeSnacks.com set out to find out. Things that they took into account: high-paying jobs, safe cities and neighborhoods, gold star schools, and high-end amenities. Other things considered were unemployment rates, median income, and poverty rates.
