Footage Shows Diddy Kicking Then-GF Cassie
Now that the Drake-Kendrick beef has been quiet recently, Diddy’s horrifying behavior has had more time to come to light. CNN obtained footage of the “Bad Boy For Life” kicking then-gf Cassie in a hotel hallway.
Footage Shows Diddy Beating On Cassie
The security camera footage is dated from March 2016 and it is disturbing and can be triggering. Over two minutes long, Diddy, 54, is seen running in the hotel hallway and grabbing Cassie, 37, who was standing outside of the elevators. Seemingly looking as though she was trying to leave, Diddy grabs her by the hoodie or back of her head/neck and throws her onto the floor. He is only wearing a white towel around his waist as he kicks her. She remains motionless on the carpeted floor, and he kicks her again in her butt, to which she then moves her hand to cover and rub the spot he kicked.
He then pulls her by her arm and tries to drag her back to where he came from. The video then shows court documents that state that Diddy was “extremely intoxicated” and punched Cassie “in the face, giving her a black eye.” After he fell asleep, the documents state that is when Cassie attempted to leave, and the footage shows how Diddy attempted to stop her from doing so.
As we reported, Cassie reached an undisclosed settlement with Diddy for her sexual assault lawsuit and declined to comment on the video, CNN noted. However, her lawyer, Douglas H. Wigdor, said: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
Huffington Post writer Yashar Ali noted on X (formerly Twitter), “I want to note that Kimora Lee Simmons has warned people about Diddy’s conduct for years, and she has either been attacked for doing so or ignored. Diddy also threatened to hit her when she was pregnant.”
People React to the Horrifying Footage of Cassie
Diddy hasn’t responded to the footage either at the time of our publishing, but on his latest Instagram post holding his youngest daughter, Love, fans bashed him in the comments section. One person wrote: “CNN just released the video of you beating Cassie in the hotel hallway. Shame on you. Your kids will see that video.” Another added, “just saw the Cassie video. Not okay, dude.” A third declared: “Did everyone see the video of him hitting and dragging Cassie in the hotel hallway???? Yea, you did everything they say you did.” Added another, “I just saw the video of what you did to Cassie. That’s all I needed to see. May you have the life you deserve.”
Meanwhile, one user noted Diddy having daughters and called him out: “The irony of you having daughters and beating on Cassie the way you did is crazy. Imagine someone treating your daughter that way. What goes around comes around.” Feeling the same way, another person said, “I hope your daughters never deal with a man like you.” Another wondered “how your daughters gonna feel after they see the monster you were in that video [pleased emoji].” Using Diddy’s moniker, another person said, “Brother love that video was disgusting [nauseous emoji].”
