Charlotte Dog Parks: Where Dogs Can Get Social
The weather is still pretty nice outside with the leaves falling and it’s a great time to bring your dog to a dog park. A lot of us love just walking our dog around the neighborhood, but dog parks are fun because you get to mingle with other dogs and also talk with the owners about their own dogs and life with canines.
My family and I have a couple of Great Danes, and dog parks can be great places because if you own a Dane, you know how nice and friendly they are. They are pretty big and a little intimidating to people who don’t understand them, but Great Danes are gentle giants and are so sweet and loving. Danes love to be social with other dogs so a dog park is just the right choice for us. Lots of dog parks actually have two parks right next to each other; one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs. Be sure to bring your dog into the appropriate one. It’s also smart to be aware of every dog in the park. Even if all the dogs are getting along, one aggressive dog could change the mood.
I did some serious searching and found a couple of dog parks, which are great places to bring your puppy, your small dog, or your big dog right here in Charlotte.
