Carolina Panthers And Charlotte FC Are Lighting Up The Holidays
Who’s ready to light up the holiday season? The Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC have announced they are hosting the annual Tree Lighting Festival outside of Bank of America Stadium, at the corner of Mint Street and Graham Street, on Tuesday, November 22nd.
The fun starts at 5:00 p.m. with festive photo booths, writing letters to Santa Claus, tasty hot cocoa, and more. You’ll also be able to buy food and beverages from local vendors. There will even be tables for making fleece blankets with the TopCats cheerleaders and holiday cards for kids at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital.
In addition to the TopCats, you’ll see Sir Purr, Sir Minty, Purrcussion, the Black & Blue Crew and, of course, Santa himself. He’ll be there in time to light the Christmas tree at 7:30 p.m.
The event is free but you must have tickets. And because it’s a stadium event, the NFL Clear Bag Policy will be in place at the festival, so bring only transparent, plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags smaller than 12″ x 6″ x 12″.
