New Dating App Has You Pay for Matches
Are you a go-getter who lives a healthy lifestyle and is looking to build a healthy relationship as well? If you answered yes, then the latest dating app on the market might be for you.
According to a press release, GoGetter was created with an aim to connect like-minded, fitness-oriented people in order for them to build a strong and healthy relationship. It’s a first-of-its-kind app designed to include a coin system to encourage quality matches.
A survey by Pew Research Center prior to the pandemic found that 45% of dating app users felt more frustrated with dating apps because they couldn’t find like-minded individuals. Andrea Miller, certified matchmaker, a fitness junkie, dating coach, and founder of GoGetter, kept that in mind when creating this app.
“I’ve spoken to hundreds of singles and meeting people isn’t the issue, it’s the quality of the matches,” said Miller. “GoGetter is designed to help you meet the right kind of people without wasting your time,” she added.
Miller wants to make sure users are finding quality matches which is why GoGetter has a “Pay Per Match” feature. This feature entails both interested parties putting in a coin to connect with one another. Each user pays their own coin and the other person is given 48 hours to pay his or her. Users can purchase the coin for as low as $1. The app is available on both Google Play and in the App Store and is free to sign up.
