List: 5 Must-Have Items for the Queen City Jazz Festival
We all know about the amazing shows that come to the Queen City and coming up soon is the Queen City Jazz Festival. Here are 5 items you should bring to have the most fun, and safe time this year!
Portable Charger
We have all been there… you’re taking pictures and videos of your favorite artist when all of a sudden, that little grey box pops up that reads, “Low Battery 10% of battery remaining.” Sure, most music festivals have charging stations, but you either have to pay a fee or the line to charge your phone is crazy long. Have no fear when your portable charger is near!
Sunscreen
This goes without saying, but that sun can be BRUTAL on your skin when you’re out at these music festivals. Typically, the day starts around 10 am and will end around 11 pm and if you’re like me, you’ll be out there all day. Be sure to take some sunscreen with you to the festival because you’ll be sweating off the layer you put on at home.
Towel/ Small Blanket
Days at a country music festival are extremely long, so you’re going to want to find the nearest tree to relax underneath so bring a towel or small blanket to rest on!
Fanny Pack
I know what you’re thinking, but hear me out. A lot of festivals will not let you bring in bags that exceed a certain size… with a fanny pack, all of your belongings like your wallet, your phone, your portable charger, and your sunscreen will all be right on your hip! It makes it easier not to lose all of your things too because it’s literally attached to you. Just think about it 🙂
Water Bottle
Like I mentioned before, the days can be long and HOT. You will need to hydrate, but instead of paying an insane amount of money for a water bottle, a lot of festivals will allow you to bring in an empty water bottle to fill up at their free water fill-up stations. Hydration is key!
