Charlotte Hornets Are Ditching Paper Tickets This Season
The roster isn’t the only change you’ll notice about the Charlotte Hornets in 2019. When the team plays their first pre-season home game with the Miami Heat on October 9th, you had better bring your smartphone to Spectrum Center. The Hornets are ditching paper tickets this season.

Just like the Carolina Panthers, the Hornets have made the switch to mobile ticketing through its official app and other ticket apps like StubHub or SeatGeek. Lots of people have stopped printing their tickets anyway. The team says more than half of their fans used mobile tickets last season.
If you don’t have a smartphone, don’t worry. Spectrum Center’s guest experience agents will still be able to help you get in. The Hornets kick off the regular season at home against the Chicago Bulls on October 23rd.
