Fortnite Is A Great Babysitter
The only thing I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving is that Fortnite is keeping kids occupied so they can leave us parents alone.I was able to watch that historic Monday night football game in peace because of Fortnite. I’m able to knock boots without knocks at the door because of Fortnite. I’m able to play my XBOX ONE (NBA 2k, Injustice 2) because of Fortnite. I’m able to binge watch my favorite and very enjoyable Netflix originals because of Fortnite. I’m able to chat on the phone, write some new jokes, watch some classic 80 movies (Fletch, Caddy Shack, National Lampoons Vacation, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Uncle Buck) just to name a few all because of Fortnite.
On the flip side kids are getting their minds take over by V-Bucks, Skins, Tilted Towers, Tomato Town, Dusty Divot, Lazy Links and hours upon hours upon hours upon hours of theses Fortnite elements. All I’m saying is that it’s sad but keeping those youngins busy and out of us parents hair is awesome. To quote my mom Barbara Sloan…”Sometimes the good has to suffer with the bad”.
