13 Things To Pull You Out of Your Boredom

Okay, so you’re bored. The fact that you’re here means one of two things: 1) You’re desperate to find something that will help ease you out of your boredom (maybe even this article), or 2) you’re incredibly curious about what we could possibly find that could help cure a person of being bored. There are probably a million and one things a person can do to not be bored, but here’s our list of things to help you get out of that rut. 

  • Draw With An Official World's Smallest Etch-A-Sketch

    They say go big or go home. In this case, I’m taking the opposite approach because by going small I’m thinking big, or well just outside of the box. This is a World’s Smallest Etch-A-Sketch, a toy that many have used to pull themselves out of boredom since 1959. Now you can have it in a mini version. Think about how hard you’ll have to think to come up with cool designs?!

  • Pick A Movie With Dice-Flix Netflix Decision Maker

    Boredom can sometimes come from indecision. And let’s be honest with all the options available at our fingertips for streaming movies and tv shows, it can be even harder to make a decision. Why not take that out of your hands and place the decision making into the hands of fate. These Dice-Flix decision making dice will help you find a movie or tv show to watch. It works on basically all streaming services so you can find a show based on how the dice roll.

  • Play Some Desktop Ping Pong

    Are you bored at your desk and have a close desk buddy? Then this may be the solution to your boredom. Sometimes our heads need breaks from long work hours, so this desktop ping pong may be a great way to shake things up even if it’s just for fifteen minutes. You and your desktop buddy can set up this ping pong and start a fun game of mini table tennis.

  • Color

Adult coloring books have been making a splash for quite sometime now. They’re super soothing and some of them are hilarious.   • Use An Activity Book

    Why not take it a step further with a whole activity book? Look you’re bored, you’re probably willing to do anything. This activity book is actually really cool. There are 100 different pages of fun activities like Sudokus, crossword puzzles, mazes, fill in the blank, etc.

  • Play With Fidget Toys

    Not into the whole activity thing and just need a little brain stimulation? Fidget toys are it. And let’s face it if your kid is into them and not asking you what they should do because they’re bored you know it’s working. 

  • Play A Game of Monopoly

    Will this start a war in your household? Who’s to say. But playing a game of monopoly is sure to keep you engaged for a bit of time. Monopoly takes time and strategy, and it’s fun. This edition is the cheaters version so you know it’s about to get a bit crazy with all the fun “rules” you can now “break” (like we weren’t doing that before).

  • Knit or Crochet

    You know that TikTok trend where people organize their refrigerator with plastic organizers and it’s so aesthetic pleasing? I swear that will help you fight your boredom. Look at how many different things can be organized in your fridge. It’s probably a lot, and to be honest it’s going to feel so good when you do it.

  • Start Your TikTok Career

    You might be wondering where I’m going with this but hear me out. Get one of these portable microphones for your cellphone, go up to your pet, and ask them questions. You can then start your TikTok career by making videos of their sniffing responses. And if you don’t have pets you can always go up to your friends or families with it. This plugs right into your phone so it’s super easy to use.

  • Clean Your Makeup Brushes

    Trust me. Your makeup brushes are dirty. And yes, you do need to clean them. This brush cleaner helps you clean your makeup brushes very quickly and easily, and it will be a lot of fun. Plus it’s so much better for your skin.

  • Take A Virtual Yoga Class

Like I said there are probably a million other things you can do to help cure your boredom. And sometimes you just have to find something to focus on. We hope this list was both fun to read and gave you some ideas on how to cure your boredom the next time it comes about.
