Election Day is finally here and there is a lot at stake in the polls in both Carolinas. This is your chance to make your voice heard and set the stage for the future of your state and country. If you need help getting to the polls today you have options. Below you will find multiple ways to get a free ride to the polls or a discounted ride. Other options include carpooling with neighbors or family. You’ll also find answers to some of the most asked questions about voting across North and South Carolina. Do you need ID? What are your rights?

Make sure to educate yourself on the issues and candidates and vote for who you feel is the best choice for the job. You should not let others coerce you into voting a certain way. You can also take your time on the ballot to make sure that you are picking the correct candidate to vote for. And most of all don’t let the lack of a ride keep you from exercising your civic duty. It’s Election Day America, enjoy it. (But also why is this not a federal holiday?).

If you are not sure where that is you can look it up with the state board of elections. Here is the website for North Carolina: https://vt.ncsbe.gov/pplkup/  and if you are registered in South Carolina you can check your polling site here.
