Francene Marie interviews Navy Veteran Chris Pullen about their 9 day walk & roll held at YMCA in Kings Mountain. To learn more visit their Facebook page @ Kings Mountain American Legion post 155.
This Mission is to complete as many laps as possible as a team in 9 days at 22 hours a day for veteran suicide awareness. While gathering all these veterans we plan on filling their needs with information, motivation, job opportunities, haircuts, free food for the ones that walk, and much more. This is more of a stand-down that evolves the community. This event closes the gap in communication by getting people talking and helping families understand along with veterans any issues they may have.
They are planning on ending the event by Saluting Marine! They will travel to DC for Memorial Day to lay almost 2000 flags on the graves of our fallen At Mountain Rest Cemetery. Come join and support all Veterans.
