Chick-fil-A will open a new restaurant in Granite Quarry this month. The company needs 100 workers. The Rowan Summit shopping center location marks the second spot for the chicken chain in Rowan County.

You'll find it on Tingle Drive, just off I-85 and Julian Road. Officials haven't pinned down an exact opening date yet, but the restaurant should open its doors sometime in April 2026, according to WBTV.

The company wants about 100 people to work there. Anyone who wants a job at the restaurant can look at openings and apply on the web.

The chain operates about 200 spots across North Carolina. More than 3,000 restaurants serve customers throughout North America and Puerto Rico.

This Granite Quarry restaurant becomes the second in Rowan County. The other sits on East Innes Street in Salisbury.

Rowan Summit shopping center will house the new spot, which sits right by the interstate. Travelers and locals can get there without trouble.

Jobs are coming to the area. Workers can pick between full-time hours or part-time shifts at the new restaurant.

The fast-food chain sells chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and waffle fries. Customers from coast to coast have made it a go-to stop over the years.

April brings more places to eat for people living nearby. Granite Quarry residents and folks from surrounding towns will have another option when they're hungry.
