Slick City Action Park will open this month at 9535 South Blvd. in Carolina Pavilion. It claims to be the world's first indoor dry-slide and air-court park.

The space spans 34,000 square feet. This marks the company's first North Carolina spot. Doors stay open all year as a family fun destination.

Eleven slides fill the park, including two brand-new designs. "Riptide" features the steepest drop the company has ever built.

Two air courts let visitors play basketball and dodgeball. A toddler zone, arcade, café, and party rooms complete the setup.

Charlotte artist Valentin Ramirez painted murals throughout the building. Kids must be at least 4 years old for the slides, while the soft play zone welcomes ages 0-3.

The company started in Denver back in 2022. Corporate headquarters sit in St. Louis and Nashville.

The South Charlotte spot will give families an indoor activity choice no matter the season. Slides, courts, and play zones all exist within a single building.

Carolina Pavilion on South Boulevard houses the new attraction. The place hopes to bring entertainment choices to children and families nearby.
