Carolina BalloonFest in Statesville
- What: A vibrant hot-air balloon festival
- When: Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, from 3 to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Where: 531 Old Airport Road, Statesville
- Cost: Adult tickets are $15 on Friday, $25 on Saturday, and $20 on Sunday. Children aged 7 to 12 are $10 every day. A weekend pass is available for $50 for adults and $25 for children. Children aged 6 and under are free.
Carolina BalloonFest is a long-running celebration of hot-air ballooning in Statesville, North Carolina. The event features mass balloon ascensions, evening balloon glows, live music, local food and wine, artisan vendors, and family-friendly entertainment, including a kids' zone and craft beer garden. Organized by a nonprofit organization, the festival provides funds for local charities and projects to benefit the community, while offering the splendor and tradition of ballooning in a fun, family-friendly event.
NC Liver Mush Festival: Mush, Music & Mutts

The NC Liver Mush Festival: Mush, Music & Mutts celebrates a beloved Western North Carolina delicacy — liver mush, a savory blend of pork liver, cornmeal, and spices that has been enjoyed for generations. Since 1985, this community tradition has honored local food heritage with live music, family-friendly fun, pet events, and over 100 vendors.
27th Annual Pineville Fall Fest

- When: Thursday, Oct. 16 and Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, from 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
