Drawing from their 2023 Stadium Series look, the uniforms sport bold red sleeves with black bands at the elbows. White forearms add sharp contrast. The state flag of North Carolina sits proudly on one shoulder, while a vintage-inspired "Strutting Stormy" patch claims the other.

"Many of our fans continue to wear and request that Stadium Series jersey because it was artfully designed and it conjures up memories of that fantastic event for our team, fans, and region," said Hurricanes President Doug Warf to NHL.com.
This marks the fourth major switch in road uniform style. The team has stuck to six-year gaps between changes, with the previous diagonal text design dating back to 2019. Matt Sutor, VP of Marketing, linked the design to local sports heritage.
Staff started crafting the design in mid-2024. This timeline let them perfect each detail through careful testing before the public reveal. The team studied NHL shoulder patches extensively to create something special.
The uniforms keep their classic red helmets, gloves, and pants. Fans will see the new design in action when the team hits the ice against San Jose on Oct. 14. Want the new gear? Head to the Lenovo Center's Carolina Pro Shop or check out the team's online store.
