Charlotte's theaters will come alive with 10 major shows in 2025. The smash hit "Hamilton" kicks off the season at the Belk Theatre, playing from January 7 through February 2.

At Booth Playhouse, QC Concerts presents "DIANA: THE MUSICAL" on January 31 and February 1. The show features local talent - Ava Smith stars as Diana, while Michael Tuck plays Prince Charles. Elyse Tuck takes on the role of Camilla, and Allison Rhinehardt portrays Queen Elizabeth II. Tickets start at $18.

UNC Charlotte's theater department kicks off its season with the theme "Old Stories, New Voices." They'll put on fresh interpretations of "Antigone Now" and "Clybourne Park."

Students can watch dress rehearsals for free. On February 14, high school students can catch a special matinee of "Clybourne Park" at no cost at Robinson Hall's Black Box Theater.

Ovens Auditorium will be packed with laughter as Kevin Hart performs for three nights, January 17-19.

Shows run at the Belk until May 25, when a fresh take on a classic musical hits the stage.

Theater lovers can choose from touring productions and local performances at various Charlotte venues throughout the year, making 2025 an exciting year for live theater.
