Halle Bailey Says Baby Halo Was The ‘Greatest’ Part Of Her 2023

Halle Bailey and boyfriend DDG (born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) announced that they welcomed their first baby together. Bailey first posted a close-up photo of her and DDG’s hand holding onto their newborn son.

“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son,” Bailey wrote on Instagram with their son rocking a gold nameplate bracelet. “Welcome to the world my halo the world is desperate to know you.”

“Auntie’s baby,” Bailey’s sister Chlöe Bailey wrote in the comments.

“Congratulationss beautiful!!!,” Tems wrote.

“Congrats beauty! Welcome to motherhood,” Tia Mowry responded.

DDG also posted the same photo on Instagram with the caption, “my biggest blessing by far son son.. never been so in love. baby halo.”

“The flyest kid in the universe has arrived,” the rapper added to his Instagram Story.

Fans Speculate That Halle Bailey Is Pregnant

It was speculated for months that Bailey was pregnant when paparazzi photos surfaced, seemingly showing her growing belly. The Shade Room acquired photos from Splash News of the couple casually shopping out in Santa Monica, California. The Little Mermaid star was wearing an oversized grey hoodie and light grey sweatpants.

The gossip site reports that DDG left in a Rolls Royce while Bailey entered a building to attend a meeting.

Fans also posted screenshots of her stomach from a reflection of the rapper’s sunglasses.

Fans also weighed in on the photos and videos that went viral. “Yalll…. The girl is pregnant. We know. Now Let her be,” one fan said, urging fans to respect her privacy.

“What level of joblessness is this?” another fan asked about people’s fascination on Bailey pregnancy.

At the time, Bailey nor DDG confirmed the pregnancy rumors.
