Oktoberfest Coming To North Carolina Via NoDa Brewing Company
It’s not quite fall, but it was in the 70s when I left for work this morning (though a firey 90+ currently) and college football returns in one week. So we are getting close! Another sign crisp fall weather is right around the corner? The return of Oktoberfest in North Carolina at NoDa Brewing Company. The celebration returns on September 1st. Attendees can enjoy German beer, a stein-holding competition, hearty fare, and more. .
Sip on NoDa’s Oktoberfest Märzen, an über-rich lager fermented with genuine German Bock yeast and brimming with traditional German malts and hops. Plus you won’t want to miss the debut of Fest Fuel Festbier, the brewery’s nod to the brews that flow in the heart of modern German Oktoberfests.
The winner of the stein-holding competition will take home a prize pack valued at $300. What’s Oktoberfest without food? There will be traditional German fare including bratwurst, sauerkraut, and more from Carlos Dogs. Bring your dog in their best costume to enter them in NoDa Brewing’s pet costume contest. Besides bragging rights, the winning pooch will get a special treat as well. Additionally, there will be live music all day, and take home a souvenir with limited edition Oktoberfest ceramic steins.
