They are considered the most influential R&B group of all time and they are right out of the Carolinas. Jodeci is set to headline the Summer Block Party Friday, July 28, 7:30pm at PNC Music Pavilion, Concord.

The four-member group made up of two sets of brothers, K-Ci and Jo Jo; Dalvin and Devante will kick off the tour back in their hometown of Charlotte. Like many R&B artists, the group started out singing in church and later evolved into the R&B genre. They've had three #1 albums and sold over 20 million albums worldwide.

Their last time they were in Charlotte to headline was back in 1992. And they agree they are ready to give their hometown fans and family what they've been waiting for. I got a chance to chop it up with them to learn more about the tour and upcoming projects.
