Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Tour Could Earn $2B In Ticket Sales Alone
Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour kicks off tomorrow (May 10) and according to Forbes she is in for a big payday. The “Cuff It” hitmaker is expected to earn $2.1 billion from the tour that’s taking her to Europe and North America. If Beyoncé makes the estimated $2.1 billion, she will outsell Taylor Swift’s Eras tour by approximately $500 million. The country-turned-popstar will likely take home $1.6 billion from her tour.
Beyoncé is estimated to make anywhere between $275M to $2.4B from ticket sales alone. Forbes reports that “They also assume the artists take home a considerable share of merchandise proceeds and pay tour expenses of 20% of revenues — leaving them with the other 80%.”
The Renaissance World Tour starts in Stockholm, Sweden and she will start the North American leg of the tour on July 8 in Toronto, Canada. It marks Beyoncé’s tour in five years. Her last tour was the On the Run II Tour with Jay-Z for their joint album Everything Is Love.
