Charlotte Goodwill Bridal Pop-Up Shop Event This Weekend

Spring and summer weddings are popular here in the Charlotte area. If you’re a bride planning your wedding and need a dress, check out this event this weekend. The fourth annual Goodwill Bridal Pop-Up Sale is happening Saturday, March 4.

Wedding dresses can be extremely expensive, and since you’ll only wear the dress once, why not find a deal! At the Goodwill Bridal Pop-Up, you’ll be able to check out hundreds of designer gowns at reduced prices. Many of the dresses still have the original tags on them! And bring if you’re a bride-to-be, bring your bridesmaids with you Saturday! The event will have lots of bridesmaid’s dresses as well that are new or gently used.

In my twenties, I think I was a bridesmaid six times. I bought six different bridesmaid dresses that I thought I’d wear again for a special occasion. Didn’t happen. Eventually I took the dress to a consignment shop. Trust me, you probably won’t wear a bridesmaid dress again, so this event can save you some money. If you’re not planning a wedding but are going to a special or formal event soon, you can also check out lots of special occasion dresses at the event.

Bridal gowns at the event will sell for $99-$499 and special occasion and bridesmaid dresses will sell for $29-$149, according to the Goodwill website. Not only will you save money on dresses, but you’ll be also helping the community. The revenue from the event will help fund career training courses, job search support, family stability services, and more services to help folks in the community.

The event is taking place Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus at 5301 Wilkinson Boulevard in Charlotte. Find out more and see some pictures from last year’s event here. There are some seriously gorgeous dresses available so get to the event early to get the perfect one for you.
