Get your taste buds ready, Taste of Charlotte is making it's way back in uptown this summer. Organizers say they are primed and ready to kick off the three-day food festival set for June 9-11, 2023 in uptown Charlotte.

This year the festival takes place at Truist Field, Home of the Charlotte Knights. It's located at 324 South Mint St. Charlotte. Over 100 restaurants are expected to provide samples of their dishes. And that's not all. Festival-goers will also enjoy various performances and entertainment on three stages. There will interactive tours as well. Aside from that, a large variety of local, regional, and national partners will provide information, coupons, and free items!

Here's the best part. Admission to Taste of Charlotte is FREE.  Festival-goers will purchase coins to use for restaurant samples,  beverages and some kid’s activities.  Coins will be available on site at booths located throughout the festival. There's a new option of downloading the Taste of Charlotte APP for digital coin!  That means you won't touch physical coin and can pre-purchase coins to avoid lines.

Depending upon your purchase, items can range from 3 - 7 coins. Don't worry if the digital currency is not your thing, some of the artists and other businesses will also  accept cash and credit cards for non food products.

Organizers say Taste of Charlotte is a fun, friendly atmosphere for all ages.
