U.S. News analyzed the 150 most populous metro areas to find the best places to live.

Many times a new job can have us moving cross country to reside, but that experience can be daunting. If it’s our choice to pick a city, what are some dealbreakers for you? Crime is supposedly low in Naples Florida, but in Brownsville, Texas, the cost of living is lower. If you have children and desire a good public school system, check out Ann Arbor, Michigan. If you like socializing, try Boise, Idaho for its family-friendly community. If you want to experience an enjoyable city, try Copenhagen, Zurich, Lisbon, or Helsinki. If you’re wondering, Copenhagen is the capital city of Denmark. In countries like Sweden or Norway, you’ll probably find Copenhagen more expensive than most destinations. The Best Cities to Raise a Family just released an in-depth analysis of 152 cities.

They examined 32 metrics organized into some key factors. The factors include safety, health, finances, education, and leisure. Good quality of life can be found in North Carolina in cities like Greensboro ranked 86th. The city ranks #116 in health and family life, including a nice cost of living and average annual salary. Another perk is the quality of high school education, average commute time, crime rate, and the area’s overall well-being. No matter what city we choose we all want top-notch health care. What is a safe city to raise your family? Please let us know.
