Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss Reportedly Left Behind A Suicide Note
Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss left behind a suicide note writing about his past struggles, gossip site TMZ reports. Law enforcement sources told the tabloid that police discovered the Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ’s message, which contained vague references to issues he had been dealing with, at the scene of his death. It is unclear what specific issues Boss was facing. However, multiple reports have determined that it was not a financial loss as online theories speculated.
On Monday (Dec. 12), investigators determined that the So You Think You Can Dance alum took an Uber from his home to the motel which is less than a mile from his home. The DJ reportedly switched his phone to airplane mode so no one could reach or track him. Boss was later found dead on Tuesday (Dec. 13) by a hotel staffer from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
In a statement to People, Allison Holker, Boss’ wife wrote: “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and light was everything to him.”
She continued, “He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory.”
Boss is survived by his wife Allison Holker and their three children Weslie, 14, Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3.
