The timing of this is ironic. I was just watching Friends last night and it was the episode where Mike is planning on proposing to Phoebe, at a basketball game. She comments beforehand on how tacky it is and well I'll let you watch the rest of the episode! And while it isn't my dream proposal (though at this point I just want a proposal) it's a common one. Are you thinking of proposing at a sporting event? Then you might be interested to know how much it would cost. Well, to propose at Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium you're getting a good deal. It's the 8th cheapest NFL game to propose at. Who knew?
This comes from a study by Betway. They contacted all 30 NFL stadiums to find out what they charge for a public proposal and combined the cost data based on what you will need for the special day. And the total cost to propose at Bank of America Stadium is around $375. The best part of the deal? You won't be charged for the scoreboard message. This cost comes from the average you'll spend on a romantic meal before or after the game, parking at the stadium, ticket costs, and short-term rental costs.
Here's how that breakdown went:
- Romantic Meal Cost: $72.75
- Stadium Parking Cost: $20.32
- Stadium Ticket Cost: $114.67
- Short Term Rental Cost: $373.74
Most Expensive NFL Stadiums To Propose At:
- TIAA Bank Field (Jacksonville)
- Ford Field (Detroit)
- FirstEnergy Stadium (Cleveland)
- State Farm Stadium (Glendale)
- U.S. Bank Stadium (Minneapolis)
- M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore)
- Lucus Oil Stadium (Indianapolis)
- Acrisure Stadium (Pittsburgh)
- Mercedes Benz Stadium (Atlanta)
- Empower Field at Mile High Stadium (Denver)
The Price of Beer at Every NFL Stadium In 2021-2022
The 2022 NFL Season is upon us, and if you're road tripping to a far away stadium, we're here to help you to plan your beer budget, based on what beer cost at every NFL stadium last season.
Every year, sports business data firm Team Marketing Report releases its NFL Fan Cost Index and they found that the price of beer varies greatly across the stadiums. Statista has really good data on this, too. And the price of a beer seems to be totally unrelated to how good the team is. For example, a beer at a Jaguars game is double what they charge in Cincinnati at a Bengals game. The Dolphins charge $11 which is why fans might be more inclined to show up drunk. The Washington Commanders probably have no business charging for beer at all. They should make beer free to anyone willing to buy a ticket. And the beer should delivered. With peanuts!
With that: let’s analyze the price of beer at each of the NFL stadiums. Keep in mind that this is what beer cost last season, and there's a good chance that prices could go up for the upcoming 2022/2023 season.
Lions $5
Falcons $5
Jets $5
Bengals $5.27
Texans $6
Ravens $6.50
Browns $6.50
Cardinals $6.50
Broncos $7.50
Colts $8
Chiefs $8.50
Raiders $9
Steelers $9.29
Cowboys $9.50
Packers $9.50
Vikings $10
Titans $10.50
Panthers $10.50
Seahawks $10.50
Patriots $10.50
Eagles $11
Giants $11
Dolphins $11
Bears $11
Chargers $11
Bills $11
Rams $11
Jaguars $11.50
49'ers $11.50
Saints $11.50
Buccaneers $11.50
Commanders $14
Wait, what?
Yes, the team from Washington has the highest priced beer. A team that hasn't finished above .500 in 5 years. They did make the playoffs in 2020 when they won the East with a 7-9 record.
The Bengals need to up that price. That team is too good.
The Dolphins will probably have to raise their beer prices to pay for legal fees and fines.
