Drake & 21 Savage To Drop Joint Album ‘Her Loss’
Drake and 21 Savage will be dropping a joint album titled Her Loss, set to arrive Friday (Oct. 28.).
The pair announced the date and title of the project in a new music video for “Jimmy Cooks” off of Drizzy’s Honestly, Nevermind album which was released in June. “Jimmy Cooks” is seemingly an ode to Drake’s character Jimmy Brooks that he portrayed on Degrassi: The Next Generation. The song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 over the summer, making it Drake’s 11th Hot 100 No. 1 and 21 Savage’s second. Honestly, Nevermind debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 making it his 11th No. 1 on the chart.
Online speculation grew that Drake and 21 would release a joint album after it was announced that the visual to “Jimmy Cooks” would arrive on 21’s 30th birthday (Oct. 22). 21 recently claimed “cap” on a joint album with Drake coming soon but now we can clearly see that the rapper was bluffing.

What also contributed to joint album rumors was that Drake surprised fans during 21’s performance at the Morehouse-Spelman homecoming concert on Wednesday (Oct. 19). The Toronto rapper performed “Nonstop” and “Jimmy Cooks.”
The rappers have previously collabed on “Knife Talk” off Drake’s album Certified Lover Boy and “Mr. Right Now” off 21 and Metro Boomin’s album Savage Mode II. They’ve also previously dropped singles “Sneakin'” and “Issa” together.
