Annual Charlotte Firefighters’ Breakfast October 15th
Our annual Firefighters’ Breakfast is this Saturday October 15th filled with hot pancakes. Meet us from 8:00am to 11:30am at the Market at 7th Street located at 224 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202. We can park in the Seventh Street Station or in the parking lot across the street. Parking in Seventh Street Station is free for the first hour and a half-validation is in the Market. Besides hot pancakes off the grill, there’s fresh blueberries, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chips, butter and syrup to top it off! Firefighters bring their portable grill and cook up fresh and delicious plate-sized pancakes with options of our favorite toppings.
Our annual Firefighters’ Pancake Breakfast benefits the NC Firefighters’ Burned Children’s Fund. Every year. Pancakes are $5 or $10 a plate, and 100% of the proceeds goes towards the NC Firefighters’ Burned Children’s Fund. The Charlotte Chapter of the FFBCF annually awards scholarship funds to burn survivors to use for undergraduate education, continuing education or personal educational enrichment, including university, college or trade courses. The kids that come out, will enjoy fire trucks, Blaze the CFD mascot, firefighters, pancakes with the trimmings and all the vendors of the Market at 7th Street.
