Looking forward to the 29th annual Carolina Renaissance Festival this year? Well, tickets are going on sale Friday, August 5ht to kick off the celebration. This new season is coming along with new changes that guests should know beforehand.
Other changes are in place to help with traffic, but additionally, a new ticket system will occur. Tickets will now be event and date specific. Another change to take note of is that general admission tickets will not be available at retail locations statewide. The Festival’s Marketing Director says, “This is the most significant operational change in the Festival’s near three-decade history,” says Matt Siegel. “Tickets will be offered at the Festival on-site box office only on event days not sold out in advance,” said Siegel in a press release. Although changes are happening, the festival is still an event everyone is looking forward to. The event is rain or shine and guests should prepare for a good time.
The 29th annual Carolina Renaissance Festival will take place Saturdays and Sundays for eight weekends from October 1 to November 20.
