You thought divulging on a hot Krispy Kreme doughnut was bad for you. Now, the North Carolina-based doughnut maker will add soft serve ice cream to its menu. Starting Tuesday (July 5th), Krispy Kreme will offer it’s Original Glazed soft serve ice cream in 10 U.S. markets.

The Charlotte Observer reports this will be the company’s first time in 80 years its offered something else sweet on its menu. And in case you’re wondering the new Krispy Kreme Original Glazed soft serve will indeed taste like the iconic Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Marketing executives at Krispy Kreme says their goal is to have Krispy Kreme be the most loved sweet treat brand in the world. They have been working on this new soft serve addition for the past two years with market research and testing. So, instead of a getting excited about seeing the “Hot Now” sign, you can add ‘soft serve’ to your sweet tooth craving.

The ice cream is made with Krispy Kreme’s glaze doughnut flavor and whole milk. It will be available as shakes, cones or by the cup. And of course, the other ice cream flavors are doughnut infused.
