The shortage of baby formula continues across the country, but there is one Charlotte company doing something to help parents and caregivers in need. StarMed Healthcare will hand out FREE baby formula starting at noon today at two of its locations.
Starting at 12 noon, the baby formula will be given away on a first-come, first-serve basis. They will have about 300 canisters to distribute. StarMed says it is 100% free and no registration is required.

Health experts recommend parents contact their pediatricians if they are struggling to find the formula. Parents can also reach out to the local WIC office and check social media to learn where formulas can be found.
Medical professionals DO NOT recommend feeding children any homemade formula of any kind or diluting formula. They warn diluting formula also dilutes the calories and nutrition your child needs. They say doing so could be harmful.
